The little Prince
On May 20th we had a quite fine performance of St. Exupery's book adapted by Sean Aita.
The novella „Le Petit Prince“ by Antoine de Saint-Exupery was voted
the best book of the 20th century in France. It has been translated into 110 languages and became one of the best sold and most read books ever.This classic tale is still very popular, the actors of Vienna’s English Theatre gave a wonderful perfomance: We followed the little prince on his trip through space, trying to find a friend after his disappointment with a beautiful rose that lived with him. We met strange people, such as a king, a pop star, a businessman, a Geography professor, an air traffic controller and finally we met Foxy, a homeless person who teaches our hero (and the audience) a lot about trust and the worth of true friendship. “One sees clearly only with one`s heart.”
